3B IM injections simulator

The trunk contains a simulated bone structure that represents the superior termination of the femur or greater trochanter, the anterior and posterior superior iliac spines, and the sacrum bone.

The bone structure presents anatomical reference points for students to identify appropriate injection sites.

A section of the upper outer quadrant of the left gluteal region has been cut away so students can see the internal structures. The gluteus medius and maximus muscles, sciatic nerve and vascular structures are clearly shown.

It allows teaching three types of intramuscular injections: dorsogluteal, ventrogluteal and vastus lateralis.

Like all Life/form® replicas and simulators, the intramuscular injection simulator is extremely realistic. The texture of the skin and muscles, as well as the shape and position of the bones, faithfully reproduce the body of a real patient. As a result, piercing tissue with a needle reflects the sensation of administering an actual injection.
