What is 3M™ Tegaderm™ +Pad?

The 3M™ Tegaderm™ +Pad Sheet Dressing with Non-Adherent Pad is a convenient, all-in-one sterile dressing. The pads are waterproof and act as viral and bacterial barriers. They are attached to a transparent dressing with a larger thin sheet and allow the wound to heal normally with less pain and trauma.

This island dressing constitutes a sterile, impermeable barrier against viruses and bacteria consisting of a non-adherent absorbent pad attached to a larger transparent thin film dressing (in vitro testing shows that the transparent film provides a 27 nm antivirus barrier in diameter or more as long as the dressing remains intact and without leaks)
