Needles of all sizes, with a patented AGUPUNT clamping system. This system consists of two notches that hold the needle without the need to generate any waste or use chemicals, making it more sustainable. On the other hand, thanks to this system, its handling is much more agile, being able to perform the insertion technique easily with one hand without ever losing palpation of the area to be treated. It also allows the repositioning of the needle in the guide tube, and its subsequent fastening, to be able to insert it again in the same patient, in case there was a problem during the first insertion.
Presentation: Box of 100 units
These new APS® needles have been specially created and designed for DRY NEEDLE in collaboration with Professor Orlando Mayoral. With his advice they have created a range of needles that will satisfy his needs as professionals.
- Headless Needle
- With guide
- More rigid handle for better handling
- Special sharpening for dry needling, in a conical shape, improves needle penetration and manipulation
- Triple layer of oil (painless needle)
- Tempered surgical steel, higher hardness
Features
Headless needle. Stiffer handle for better handling. (the thickness of the steel thread of the handle is 0.08 mm greater than that of the acupuncture needle, this allows us greater resistance)
Use class I, type II* steel.
High strength surgical steel. This type of steel is much better, higher hardness, achieves a longer sharpening life, for multiple insertions
Differences from traditional needles
* Class I, Type II steel
Surgical Steel is a variation of steel that is commonly composed of an alloy of chromium (12–20%), molybdenum (0.2–3%) and, in sometimes nickel (8–12%).
- Chromium gives this metal its resistance to wear and corrosion.
- Nickel gives it a smooth and polished finish.
- Molybdenum gives it greater hardness and helps maintain the sharpness of the edge.
High-strength surgical stainless steel 17-4 tends to have a molybdenum composition of 2% instead of the 0.8% that classic acupuncture needles have. Due to the high cost of this material, it is normally used in low proportions to avoid making the products more expensive. In our case, the concentration is highly increased to achieve the desired effects. (Improves sharpening duration, sharpening with greater precision)
