Maintenance:

- Cleaning the bar: Magnesia and its perspiration can cause rust stains on the bar, especially around the knurling (handle). It is essential to clean your bar with a brush after each use for home users, and once or twice a week for professionals.

Note: Cerakote coated bars are less of a concern as they are extremely resistant to corrosion and rust.

- Grease the bearings: Once or twice a year, it is essential to grease your bearings with a liquid oil to keep them in good working order.
