Soft cutaneous traction equipment for lower extremities consisting of a padded plate, an adhesive elastic bandage and polyester ropes.
Adaptable to any standard traction method, it also allows radiological control without interference since it is radiolucent and supports weights of up to 10 Kg.
High elasticity compression bandage (>100%). Rigid plate covered in breathable open-pore foam with a rope located in the central portion of the padded footboard.

Indicated for musculoskeletal traction of lower limbs in trauma and orthopedic treatments.
Instructions for use:
With the foot in a dorsiflexed position, place the transmission plate, with the foam padding inward, at a distance of approximately 5 cm from the sole of the foot so that the ankle moves freely, while protecting it from pressure. the ankle and the side of the foot. The glued lining material is removed and the equipment is unrolled, at the same time firmly smoothing the adhesive surfaces of the fabric tape in an upward direction along the leg. Once the correct length has been decided, the fabric is cut. The procedure is repeated for the other side of the limb. Maximum adhesion is obtained by applying the retention bandage. Begin bandaging starting at the ankle, with one or two first turns to secure the cloth tape. Continue with firm but even tension for the desired height of the limb. Once the bandage is secured, traction is applied with normal traction weights. The cord pull should be along the line of the fabric tape.
