The Ami Pro neuromuscular electrostimulator is a device to treat dysphagia by promoting muscle trophism and improving proprioceptive neuromuscular sensitivity with the aim of re-educating the muscles involved during swallowing. This equipment is a non-invasive neuromuscular electrostimulation system that acts using square waves, respecting the guidelines of the main scientific evidence currently available in the scientific literature.

Dysphagia is difficulty swallowing, meaning your body needs more time and effort to move food or liquid from your mouth to your stomach.

The Ami Pro Electrostimulation Equipment includes different stimulation programs with a motor, sensorimotor and sensory objective, proposed with different parameters to allow the most appropriate choice of the work cycle. It also has various facial rehabilitation programs and modifiable programs to adapt to the professional's therapeutic needs.

Ami Pro has the exclusive special “Action Now” function that allows stimulation only when the operator or the patient themselves want. By pressing the “Action now” button on the device, it is possible to coordinate muscle activation with the patient's voluntary swallowing, becoming for all intents and purposes a self-feedback system.

The use of this device is reserved for doctors, authorized personnel and their patients solely and exclusively under medical prescription and continuous supervision of the professional.
