Accutrend Triglyceride Strips (25)
Quantitative determination of triglycerides with ACCUTREND PLUS reflection photometers
Storage data
Storage and stability (+2ºC to +30ºC) until the expiration date indicated on the case, respectively on the tube. After removing a test strip, close the tube immediately to prevent exposure to dust, humidity, etc., from affecting the strips.

Accutrend Triglyceride Strips(25)
Quantitative determination of triglycerides with ACCUTREND PLUS reflection photometers
Clinical aspects
Triglycerides are one of the cardiovascular risk factors along with cholesterol and glucose.
Triglyceride determinations serve for the premature detection of a risk of atherosclerosis and for the classification of hyperlipoproteinemia as well as for the control of dietary and drug antilipidemic therapy.
Basis
The measurement principle is based on the reflection of light on the test strip containing a chromogenic substrate. The reagent strip has a magnetic strip that contains all the method-specific information necessary for the execution and calibration of the device in a fully automated manner.
Obtaining the capillary blood sample
Technique
The sample is deposited on the test strip, entering the reading chamber of the device.
After about three minutes, the result is obtained, without the need for reagent preparation, sample manipulation, or any calculations.
Reference intervals < 200 mg/dl.
Measurement range: 70-600 mg/dl.
Interference
Preparations with high doses of ascorbic acid, gentisic acid, hematocrit values greater than 55%, chlordiazapoxide, nitrofurantoin, sultamethoxazole, trimethoprim
